The S Tier is a party game by DAT'APEX LIMITED ("Datapex", "we"). Datapex is responsible for the processing described in this policy.
Information we process
- No account is required to use this app.
- Birth year or age band, stored locally on your device.
- Optional AI provider API keys (OpenAI or Anthropic) if you enter them, stored locally on your device.
- Tier-list subject text you type when using AI generation features.
- Advertising data collected by Google AdMob, described below.
- Purchase status for the optional "Full Game" unlock, described below.
Advertising
The free version of the app shows banner ads provided by Google AdMob. We request non-personalized ads only, which means ads are not chosen based on your past activity or interests.
To deliver ads, limit how often they repeat, measure them, and prevent fraud, Google may collect information such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address (and approximate location derived from it), device and app information, and interactions with ads. Datapex does not receive this information in a form that identifies you.
When the app is in child mode, ad requests are marked as child-directed and limited to general-audience (G) content.
In-app purchases
The optional "Full Game" unlock removes ads. Payment is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see your payment details; the app only receives confirmation that the purchase was made so it can unlock the content and restore it later.
How AI generation works
If you enable AI generation, subject text is sent directly from your device to your selected provider (OpenAI or Anthropic) to generate suggestions.
Datapex does not provide a backend profile or account system for this app.

Children
Child mode restricts features, including disabling AI generation, and marks ad requests as child-directed.
Your controls
- Update birth year in app settings.
- Clear AI keys in AI settings.
- Reset or delete your device's advertising identifier in your phone's privacy settings.
- Buy the "Full Game" unlock to remove ads.
- Uninstall the app to remove local app data.
If you are in the EU, the UK or another region with similar laws, you can ask us to access or delete data we hold about you, and you can complain to your data protection authority (in Ireland, the Data Protection Commission).
